Accessibility
Everyone should be able to use this site
Emotional intelligence is about meeting people where they are. This website should do the same. Here is the standard we work to, what we support today, where we fall short, and how to tell us when something doesn't work for you.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We test the site ourselves, fix what we find, and keep a written list of what is still open.
What we support
- Keyboard use. A "Skip to main content" link appears on your first press of Tab. The menus open with keyboard focus, and Escape closes them.
- Screen readers. Every page declares its language, has one main heading and headings in order, and every image has a text description.
- Readable contrast. Text colours are chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast.
- Labelled forms. Every form field has a visible label.
- Motion you control. The moving reviews have a pause button. If your device is set to reduce motion, animations stop.
- No sound without your say. Audio never plays on its own. James's spoken welcome starts only when you press Play, shows every word on screen as a transcript, and has Pause and Stop.
- Phones and zoom. Pages fit small screens without sideways scrolling.
Known limitations
We know about these and are working on them:
- The Global reach map. The country details open when you point at a country, which doesn't work with a keyboard or a screen reader yet. The same information is in the text beside the map.
- Videos from MHS. Some videos on this site are published by Multi-Health Systems (MHS) on YouTube. Their captions are provided by MHS.
- Services run by others. Checkout, scheduling, the LeaderEI® Assistant chat, and the MHS assessment and training portals are run by other companies, and their accessibility is in their hands. If one of them gets in your way, tell us and we will help you another way.
Certification and assessments
If you need an accommodation to take part in a live certification or to complete an assessment, tell us before you enroll and we will talk through what is possible. Accommodations are available upon request.
Tell us when something doesn't work
If any part of this site is hard to use, Email LeaderEI at info@leaderei.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line. Tell us the page and what happened. We will get back to you and make sure you get the information or service you came for.
